Operation Biscuit's sole mission is giving back to our veterans, communities, and pets with less.
We are 100% volunteer run and raise funds for other non-profits that support our heroes through the sale of our dog and cat treats, provide regular veteran food pantry treat donations and host veteran and community biscuit baking sessions.
We also make efforts to support local veterans with pets in need of medical treatment by actively recruiting community donations so they can care for their pets in the way that they deserve.
Not all animals are service animals, but each one is an emotional support pet.
Today's pets are as health conscious as their humans.
We accommodate dental needs and special diets with grain, egg, and flour free options.
Quality control is important to us. Our C.O.O. and Mascot, Vivienne, oversees the creation process from start to finish to ensure perfection. Each batch receives her Official Paw of Approval.
We offer recreational biscuit baking programs to suit the needs of our participants - veterans, civic groups, developmentally challenged, elderly, and children.
Studies have shown that baking can serve as a mindfulness-based stress reduction activity that can teach individuals to focus on the present moment, bringing awareness to the experience in a non-judgmental and accepting environment.
All sessions are designed to offer a sense of purpose, foster creativity, build social and organizational skills and provide a positive outlet that will instill confidence and enhance self-esteem.
We donate treats to local food pantries that provide resources to homeless and at-risk veterans and their families and help raise funds to support veterans with pets in need of urgent medical care. We do this through grass roots outreach because we are a community of people who love our veterans, love our animals, and know pets are family.
Treat donations for the pets of homeless and at-risk veterans and their families.
